'Darold' By Ferg

Album cover art by FERG.
"This album means the world to me !!! This is a literal work of art . I started painting again during the pandemic and flirted with the idea of doing my own cover art for my album . The therapeutic nature of brush on canvas put me in a zone and I decided Id just do all my single covers myself . The vibe was Fresh and I was back hooked on painting again.
Creating my first album Trap Lord was an outlet for me being a young black man in the hood facing daily adversities. At one point I even felt like a “lord that was trapped” . Reflection led me to becoming more “Hood pope” the enlightened one but I found balance in just being Darold.
Thank you to all my family , friends , and fans/fam who gave me space to grow. I never wanted to take 4 years to create a album but I also never wanna talk unless I have something to say.
The art was elevated once I evolved as a person." ~ DAROLD
